Air Roots Blower

Air Roots Blower is a type of positive displacement blower. It has two three-bladed rotors that rotate relative to each other within a sealed space enclosed by the casing and the wall plates. Since each rotor is based on the involute or epicycloidal envelope curve, the three blades of each rotor are exactly the same, and the two rotors are also identical. This significantly reduces the processing difficulty. The rotors are processed using CNC equipment, ensuring that regardless of the position where the two rotors rotate, a certain very small gap can be maintained, thereby ensuring that the gas leakage is within the allowable range.

The two rotors rotate in opposite directions. Due to the extremely small gaps between the rotors and the casing, the wall plates, and the wall plates and the casing, the inlet forms a vacuum state. Air enters the inlet chamber under the action of atmospheric pressure. Then, two of the blades of each rotor form a sealed cavity with the wall plates and the casing. During the rotation of the rotors, the air in the inlet chamber is continuously carried to the exhaust chamber by the two blades forming the sealed cavity. Also, since the rotors in the exhaust chamber are intermeshed, the air between the two blades is compressed. Due to the adoption of the three-blade rotor structure and the reasonable structure at the inlet and outlet of the shell, the fan has low vibration and low noise.

The impeller and the shaft are of an integral structure and the impeller has no wear. The performance of the fan remains unchanged for a long time and can operate continuously for a long period.

The volumetric utilization rate of the fan is high, the volumetric efficiency is high, and the structure is compact. The installation method is flexible and variable.

Operating conditions

1. The inlet temperature of the conveyed medium is usually not more than 40℃.

2. The content of particles in the medium shall not exceed 100mg/m3, and the maximum particle size shall not exceed half of the minimum working gap.

3. The bearing temperature during operation shall not exceed 95℃, and the lubricating oil temperature shall not exceed 65℃.

4. The operating pressure shall not exceed the pressure increase range specified on the nameplate.

5. The gap between the impeller and the casing, between the impeller and the side plate, and between the impellers shall be adjusted at the factory and must be ensured during reassembly.

6. During operation, the oil level of the main oil tank and the auxiliary oil tank must be between the two red lines of the oil level gauge.

7. Check for any forgotten fastening points at the connection parts of the inlet and outlet, and ensure that the supporting parts of the piping are complete. For fans that require cooling water, check whether the installation of the cooling water meets the requirements for vacuum pumps and blowers.
